Thought provoking and well written. Just a minor concern: George Takei was mentioned, but not his role on the show. If you are indeed referencing Ted Wassanasong, I believe this character was voiced by a white actor (Judge or Huss?) doing his best impression of Lieutenant Sulu from Star Trek. It’s possible Takei May have originated the role, much the same as Mary Tyler Moore originated the character of pastor Reverend Stroup. When the character became recurring, a sound alike was substituted in Moore’s role. Replacing a big name guest star with an unknown is more a concern of economics and availability rather than anything non inclusive in nature.
